    TRAIL REPORT
    Some Trail News:

As all of you well know we’ve had our share of rain this year and I’ve always said we ride as long as it’s not lightening.
Well our scheduled ride at the Glade Top Marsh was just a little on the damp side. But I must say that those of us who showed up had an enjoyable though wet ride.

Both of us joked and laughed about those who chose to keep warm and dry and they all probably have poked fun at us for being out in the rain.
My mother, on occasions, made some kind of a remark about common sense (but that was when I was just a kid). But look at the ride from our point of view……no bugs or horse flies, the fog that mingled among the trees made for breath taking views and it only rained part of the time....we were doing what made us happy….. riding our horses.

The Bateman ride attracted more riders, probably because of the sunshine. Dale led the ride with Dave, Renee, Frank, Stan, Wanda and myself taking in the wild life and scenery.

Wanda was riding her new horse and is thrilled with how smooth and gentle the ride was.

I just heard that Steve and Kate are back in town and we will all be looking forward to riding with them.

Well, after the Celebration remember that our rides will be back to our old time. Leaving Murphy’s at 9:00 a.m. and leaving the trail head at 10:00 a.m.

    Happy Trails,

    Nancy & Chip/Stormy
